This is a special elective course rarely found in other culinary schools. More than simply learning recipes and bar staples, students of this class are immersed in the science of alcohol and liquor. They will learn the basic principles behind the chemistry and classification of various liqueurs, wines, and other spirits. Expect to dissect the properties of alcohol, and then reassemble them to create unique concoctions. Flairtending is also touched on in this program, and graduates do not only learn the recipes of popular cocktails, they become equipped to craft their own creations.
